Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, critical care environment within a 90-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Nurses will develop individualized care plans, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of an RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- Level 1 critical care or PACU experience preferred; new graduates considered
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role
Key Duties:
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care
