Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat adult and pediatric patients. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, performs imaging exams independently, and follows safety protocols. No prior experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided. Certifications in radiography and BLS are necessary, with preferred experience of at least two years.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient and equipment readiness for procedures with professionalism and excellent customer service
- Conduct radiographic imaging exams independently, including portable and on-call procedures
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency; enrollment in radiology program acceptable if within six months
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
- Licensed as required; BLS certification
