Acute Medicine Registered Nurse (Part-Time) (Days)

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety and quality compliance. Nurses collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. The role requires working with a 38-bed unit, supporting patient tech activities, and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
  • Ability to work safely and alertly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
