Role Overview:
Seeking a full-time CT Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in computed tomography (CT), on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, including on-call and portable exams, and ensuring quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with attention to patient safety and image quality.
- Prepare patients and equipment prior to procedures.
- Operate independently across various settings, including portable exams and on-call situations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or trade school certification.
- Certification/licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
- Preferred experience of 2+ years, with CPR and intravenous therapy certifications.
- Willingness to cross-train in CT; must be registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) if not already registered in CT.
