Orthopedic Spinal Surgery Clinical Nurse – (Days or Nights)

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a 32-bed orthopedic/neuro spine unit specializing in elective surgeries such as joint replacements, back, knee, and hip procedures. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Develops individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across all care stages. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual factors. Participates in activities to enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree, RN licensure
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 2 years of experience
  • Strong communication, assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work safely and in a constant alert state, as position is safety-sensitive
