Clinical Nurse – Orthopedics

Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse provides comprehensive patient care within a specialized Orthopedic Unit, utilizing advanced techniques in limb salvage, minimally invasive procedures, trauma, and surgical repair. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs, promoting patient-centered care, and educating patients and families on managing their conditions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Ensure patient safety and quality through adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Participate in professional development and team activities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Support a multidisciplinary environment with physicians, therapists, and case managers.
  • Care for diverse patient populations, including post-operative, trauma, degenerative, and complex musculoskeletal cases.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current nursing license; recent graduates must obtain licensure within 90 days.
  • Educational background in Nursing (Diploma/Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in orthopedics is preferred but not required.
