Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric hospital setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The nurse will promote patient and family-centered care, educate families on managing illnesses and treatments, and participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors.
- Utilize critical nursing skills to ensure comprehensive patient care and safety.
- Engage in professional development and uphold compliance standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Active RN license.
- At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience; neuro experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
