Role Overview
This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-acuity acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient- and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with an interprofessional team, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: Must hold an RN license
- Experience: No prior experience required; at least 2 years preferred for advanced roles
