Part Time High Risk Cardiac Nurse

Role: Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
  • Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
  • Maintains safety-sensitive awareness, working alertly to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing, RN license.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 2+ years of experience, telemetry/cardiac experience.
