Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and safety. The role involves participating in performance improvement initiatives, maintaining professional competence, and supporting shared governance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Coordination: Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, deliver care per protocols, and document assessments and interventions accurately.
- Patient Advocacy & Satisfaction: Address patient concerns, educate families, communicate care plans effectively, and prioritize patient needs to enhance satisfaction.
- Performance Improvement: Contribute ideas for process enhancements, support quality initiatives, and promote better outcomes.
- Professional Development & Leadership: Maintain licenses, pursue ongoing education, mentor colleagues, and foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
