Role Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide acute care services, focusing on patient independence and functional recovery in a hospital setting. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination, ensuring care aligns with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing and revising individualized treatment plans with patient and family input.
- Providing patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals.
- Conducting assessments, establishing goals, and evaluating treatment efficacy.
- Documenting evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions per departmental protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with ethical practices, confidentiality, safety, and infection control.

- Participating in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current OT license and BLS certification required.
