PRN Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview: The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings.

Responsibilities: Deliver safe, high-quality patient care through ventilator management, airway procedures, and therapeutic interventions; collaborate with healthcare teams; educate patients, families, and staff; and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Duties: Perform assessments, verify and administer medications, manage ventilators, interpret waveforms, and assist with invasive/non-invasive procedures. Ensure compliance with safety standards and documentation practices.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications; 0-2 years of clinical experience with critical care exposure; strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills; and ability to establish collaborative relationships.
