Role: Med Surg RN supporting a high-impact, multi-campus care team in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized, evidence-based nursing care by owning the full nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
- Build meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
- Drive top clinical outcomes using current best practices and participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance.
- Create a safe, collaborative environment fostering teamwork and staff engagement.
- Mentor fellow nurses and interdisciplinary team members, supporting ongoing professional development.
- Lead evidence-based practice initiatives, contribute to patient care decisions, and support continuous quality improvement.
- Proactively plan care across the patient journey, shaping protocols to enhance experiences and reduce readmissions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required); BSN preferred.
- RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS/ACLS certifications (required).
- National certification in specialty (preferred).
- At least 2 years of recent Med Surg experience, with computer data entry proficiency.
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems (preferred).

- Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic technology tools.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage clinical emergencies effectively.
