Caregiver Role Summary

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors, promoting their safety, dignity, and independence while building meaningful relationships. Key duties include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, following individualized service plans, and documenting any changes. The role involves engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care, caregivers create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Qualifications and Skills: A high school diploma or GED, age 18+, CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain, and qualities such as compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills are required.
