Role Overview

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
• Ensure compliance with the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and changes in health status
• Report refusals, reactions, and health updates promptly
• Support care plan updates and transcribe physician orders
• Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and uphold regulatory standards
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
