Medication Aide / Med Tech

As a Medication Aide / Med Tech, you are responsible for administering medications and treatments accurately and safely according to physician orders, while maintaining resident dignity. Your duties include documenting in MAR/TAR in real-time, monitoring residents during and after medication passes, observing for health changes, and reporting concerns promptly. You will also complete narcotic counts, keep medication carts organized, and adhere to infection control and safety standards.

Key qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, and CPR and First Aid certifications. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential, with senior care experience preferred. The role is vital in preventing medication errors, early health issue detection, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
