Role Overview: A Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience is sought to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a rehabilitative setting. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve patients’ activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and revise treatment plans based on patient progress and input from patients and families.
- Conduct patient assessments, establish and evaluate treatment goals, and develop discharge plans in collaboration with physicians and families.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, follow-ups, and community resource referrals.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge information in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and ensure safe, cost-effective use of materials and equipment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
