Role Overview: The RN Resident is responsible for completing a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support new graduates with less than 6 months of experience.
Key Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care following evidence-based standards, coordinate interdisciplinary communication, and ensure safe, high-quality clinical practices. Participate in orientation phases, specialty and core onboarding, and monthly residency sessions. Collaborate with care teams, support performance improvement activities, and uphold organizational policies and standards. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified nursing workforce and promote evidence-based practice and research utilization.
