Role Overview:
Assist in managing departmental operations within a NICU setting, supporting clinical and service excellence. The position involves oversight of reporting, payroll, staff communication, data collection, staff competencies, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in staffing, budget development, and financial management, ensuring goals are met amidst business changes.
- Analyze trends in patient outcomes, audits, and compliance; develop and implement corrective actions.
- Manage service recovery, resolve operational issues, and support investigations.
- Ensure staff meet regulatory, competency, and readiness standards through audits and corrective plans.
- Oversee staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, and communication; lead staffing and performance evaluations.
- Manage onboarding, training, workload, and professional development of team members to support operational goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred for higher-level roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
