Role Overview:
We are seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes across adult and pediatric patients. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent ultrasound examinations—including abdominal, obstetric, small parts, and vascular studies—and documenting procedures accurately. The sonographer may assist with needle procedures like biopsies and drainages, and perform portable or on-call exams as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school
- RDMS or equivalent certification required
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience, RDCS certification, CPR certification
- No supervisory experience necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper functioning of ultrasound equipment
- Perform and document imaging studies independently
- Assist with procedures requiring ultrasound guidance
