Role Overview:
This is a full-time Senior Radiation Therapist position responsible for delivering precise radiation treatments to oncology patients, including both outpatient and hospitalized individuals. The role involves preparing patients and charts, performing treatments, and coordinating scheduling, with a focus on accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the TrueBeam linear accelerator and perform treatment simulations, including 3D and brachytherapy techniques.
- Teach students and present current case studies to foster knowledge sharing.
- Ensure treatments are delivered accurately, adhering to departmental and regulatory standards.
- Complete treatment processes and assist with patient scheduling.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certified Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program and Board Certified by ARRT.
- Ability to operate radiation equipment, including TrueBeam linac.
- Strong understanding of radiology, medical imaging, and cancer care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Experience with advanced radiation techniques such as IMRT and brachytherapy.
