Clinical Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities within established standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Nurses develop individualized care plans collaboratively, communicate effectively across care teams, and utilize critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a healing environment through patient and family education on post-treatment care and medication management.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities, along with ongoing professional development.
  • Develop and document personalized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
  • Assess patient needs holistically, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license required.
  • Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities; ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
