Part-Time Clinical Nurse

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and compliance, along with professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients.
  • Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
  • Maintain a safety-sensitive approach, working in a constant state of alertness.
  • Qualifications & Skills

    • Educational requirements: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
    • Licensure: Valid RN license.
    • Experience: Emergency Department experience and supervisory experience are preferred but not mandatory.
    • Skills: Ability to lead teams, excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
