Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care within the Acute Medical Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with established standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential. The nurse will assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. The position requires alertness and safety awareness at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- Open to new graduates or experienced nurses, with up to 2 years of experience preferred
- ACLS certification is preferred (support available post-hire)
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to professional development and team collaboration
