MRI Technologist (PRN)

Role Overview:

This is a PRN position for an Advanced Modality MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily using Siemens MRI machines, to produce high-quality images for complex cases. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and handling on-call, portable, and various site-specific exams. The technologist must have an associate degree or higher in a relevant field and hold certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and/or MR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across advanced modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, and others.
  • Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
  • Conduct studies independently and in on-call situations, including portable exams.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent in related field.
  • Certifications: R.T.(R) or MR certification, with preferred experience of two years.
  • Licenses: IEMA license (excluding MRI), and additional certifications like RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES are advantageous.
  • Preferred skills include CPR and intravenous therapy knowledge.
