Clinical Nurse – GYN Oncology

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female-related health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. The role involves educating patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration, while promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The nurse develops individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, addressing physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs. Critical nursing skills are essential for evaluating patient needs and barriers to involvement in care. This position is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safety awareness at all times.

  • Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree, RN license, with a preference for a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience.
