Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaborates with an interprofessional team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes healing environment and patient education.
  • Participates in safety and quality initiatives, professional development.
  • Develops and documents personalized care plans with team and patient involvement.
  • Assesses patient needs holistically, considering emotional, cultural, and spiritual factors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and ≥2 years of experience.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG certifications.
  • Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe working practices.
