Role: Registered Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit, working in a Level I Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members such as physicians, therapists, case managers, and pharmacists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, communicating effectively across care teams.
- Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, participating in ongoing professional development.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, spiritual, and demographic factors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree, RN license, no previous experience required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality.
