Role Overview: This position involves performing clinical duties as a medical laboratory scientist in a high-complexity laboratory and teaching medical laboratory science students.
Responsibilities: Conduct all duties and meet competency expectations, develop and deliver educational content, maintain confidentiality, troubleshoot and resolve issues, engage in continuous quality improvement, and participate in teamwork and professional activities. May serve on committees and assist with recruitment efforts.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, successful completion of an accredited MLS program, or equivalent experience with certifications. For adjunct roles, alternative qualifications include associate degrees with extensive laboratory and teaching experience. Strong knowledge of laboratory practices, professionalism, and teaching abilities are essential.
