Role Summary: This position involves performing and reporting various laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources, serving as a technical expert, troubleshooting instruments, and assisting with new testing methods. The role includes interpreting specialized tests, ensuring quality control, participating in training, and supporting inventory management. The individual will collaborate on procedure reviews and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care in a clinical laboratory environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; preferred in Medical Technology.
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent experience.
- ASCP or NAACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of four years’ MLS experience.
- Strong technical expertise, troubleshooting abilities, and knowledge of laboratory instrumentation.
- Ability to interpret complex testing and participate in quality assurance activities.
- Excellent communication, training, and team collaboration skills.
