MRI Technologist – Evening Shift

Role Overview: Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and positioning patients for MRI scans; explaining procedures and addressing questions.
  • Performing neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
  • Administering IV contrast and performing venous access as directed.
  • Entering data into imaging systems and processing images; identifying anatomical structures.
  • Conducting quality control tests on equipment; reporting malfunctions.
  • Managing supplies, supporting radiological needs, and acting as a liaison to physicians.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
  • Graduate of a radiologic technology training program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging procedures, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
