Position Overview: Provides clinical support in an outpatient setting, assisting providers with diagnostic and treatment procedures, and ensuring patient care continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document patient history, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and skin testing under provider supervision.
- Maintain clean and prepared examination and treatment rooms, ensuring asepsis and readiness.
- Communicate with patients, respond to inquiries, and prioritize provider communication.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).
- Endoscopy experience preferred.
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
