Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides primary clinical support in a busy healthcare setting, assisting providers with patient care, diagnostic procedures, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure proper setup of examination rooms.
- Communicate effectively with patients and providers to support efficient care delivery.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required). Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential. Ability to work within scope of practice and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
