Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse in a fast-paced acute care unit, providing complex care for patients with various medical conditions including pneumonia, COPD, cardiac, renal, GI disorders, and postoperative cases.
Responsibilities: Assess, plan, organize, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient and family needs, promote safety, and enhance patient satisfaction. Provide direct care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostics, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and revise plans based on patient responses. Collaborate proactively with physicians and team members, troubleshoot equipment issues, participate in evidence-based practice, and engage in quality and safety initiatives. Ensure compliance with policies and contribute to a positive patient experience.
- Complete assessments within scope of practice and standards
- Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs
- Develop and coordinate care plans, including discharge planning and education
- Participate in team decision-making and safety programs
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; compassionate, team-oriented, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
