Nurse Practitioner – Neonatology

Role: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner responsible for providing specialized care in NICU settings, working alongside neonatologists, residents, and nursing staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage Level 3 and Level 2 NICU patients, including assessments, admissions, and ongoing care.
  • Attend deliveries and manage high-risk infants less than 35 weeks.
  • Perform procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, chest tubes, arterial puncture, arterial line placement, and ventilator management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification (required).
  • Experience in neonatal intensive care and performing critical procedures.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts in a collaborative environment.

Key Duties: Providing comprehensive neonatal care, managing critically ill infants, supporting deliveries, and performing advanced procedures in a high-volume NICU setting.
