Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, assessing needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating interdisciplinary team efforts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Deliver direct care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, following policies and procedures.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other team members to facilitate patient care and resolve issues proactively.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making, quality, and safety initiatives to improve organizational outcomes.
- Engage in patient and family education, discharge planning, and promoting a positive care experience.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required), Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Demonstrates compassionate care, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of evidence-based practice and safety protocols is essential.
Work Environment & Schedule: Typically performed in a clinical setting with shifts from 7p-7:30a, including every other weekend and holiday requirements.
