Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time and support care plan updates through transcribing physician orders.
• Monitor residents for symptom relief, adverse reactions, and physical, emotional, or cognitive changes, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Maintain medication carts, conduct narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and support resident safety through clinical precision.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred.
