Role Overview

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors, promoting their safety, dignity, and independence. Key responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, following individualized service plans, and documenting any changes. They engage residents through conversation and activities, support dining services, and maintain a clean environment. In Memory Care settings, they create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Key Duties

• Assist residents with ADLs and personalized care plans
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence
• Build meaningful relationships and engage residents in daily activities
• Support dining and maintain a welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with families and care team members
