Automotive Service Technician

Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, and rotation. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and ensuring vehicle safety by conducting basic inspections and noting repairs. The technician safely operates company vehicles, follows safety procedures, and adheres to company policies.

Qualifications & Skills: Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain or hold a State Inspector License is required. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics, ability to work Monday through Saturday, and physical capability to lift weight and perform manual tasks are essential.

Key Duties: Perform tire services, oil changes, observe and document vehicle conditions, maintain a clean work environment, transport customers and parts, and conduct safety and emission inspections following guidelines.

Physical & Working Conditions: Work involves exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and good vision and hearing. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
