Role Overview:
This position is for a PRN CT Technologist working evening and night shifts, with flexible scheduling. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, with rotations for CT-guided biopsies and procedures. Candidates should have at least 1 year of CT experience and hold current CT certification or equivalent. Key responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, and independently conducting imaging studies, including portable and on-call exams.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience
- Additional certifications such as CPR and IV therapy are advantageous
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in advanced imaging modalities
- Ability to work independently and handle on-call situations
- Attention to patient safety and comfort
