Role & Responsibilities: The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities like MRI, CT, and others on adult and pediatric patients to aid diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring quality control. The role is based in an outpatient facility with no weekends or holidays, offering a 4-day or 3-day shift schedule with 10 or 12-hour shifts.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should possess an associate degree or higher in a related field and be certified as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and/or MRI. Preferred experience includes at least 2 years in medical imaging, with licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, or related certifications. Basic knowledge of radiology, medical imaging, and relevant safety protocols is essential.
