Role Overview:
This position is for a Full-Time Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting independent imaging exams, including portable and emergency room procedures, and occasionally assisting in the Operating Room. The technologist will utilize Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream equipment to deliver high-quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic imaging examinations with professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Work independently in various settings, including ER and OR.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure accurate, diagnostic-quality images.
- Assist with portable exams and other departmental tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and ARRT registration.
- No prior experience necessary; new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Licenses may include IEMA (Illinois) and other relevant certifications.
- Preferred experience includes at least 2 years and CPR certification.
