Role Overview


This position involves performing venipuncture to obtain blood specimens, serving as a liaison between physicians and the laboratory, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The role requires managing supplies efficiently without overstocking, ensuring smooth laboratory operations, and upholding professional appearance and standards.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Certification from the National Phlebotomy Association or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Key Duties


  • Obtain blood specimens via venipuncture
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and laboratory staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
  • Manage and stock supplies appropriately
