This position involves performing venipuncture to obtain blood specimens, serving as a liaison between physicians and the laboratory, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications & Skills
- Certification from the National Phlebotomy Association or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Duties
- Obtain blood specimens via venipuncture
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and laboratory staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Manage and stock supplies appropriately
