Role: Medication Aide / Med Tech responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents in a senior living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders.
- Adhere to the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
- Document medication administration in MAR/TAR in real-time.
- Monitor residents during and after medication passes, observing for health changes.
- Report refusals, concerns, and medication-related issues promptly.
- Complete narcotic counts and maintain organized medication carts and rooms.
- Follow infection control and safety standards to ensure resident safety.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+.
- Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certification.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience in senior care preferred.
