Part-Time LPN Medication Nurse

Job Summary

The role involves providing licensed nursing support in a senior care setting, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.
Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and documenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real time.
Additional duties encompass monitoring symptoms, reporting adverse reactions or refusals, conducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribing physician orders, and observing physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents.
Maintaining medication carts, completing narcotic counts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards are also essential.
The role aims to prevent medication errors, identify health changes early, and safeguard resident safety through clinical precision and adherence to protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Active LPN license in good standing
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong assessment and documentation skills
  • Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
