Role: Sales Associate
Responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Operating cash registers, handling transactions, and assisting with merchandise
- Unpacking, stocking, rotating, and displaying merchandise according to planograms
- Maintaining store cleanliness by cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas
- Supporting store profitability and asset protection through various duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and procedures
- Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides
- Basic cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to stock merchandise and operate cash register functions
Preferred Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 55 pounds)
- Handling merchandise and operating equipment like scanners and carts
- Fast-paced environment with exposure to outside weather conditions at times
