Role Overview:
This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with responsibilities including assisting in store operations, maintaining merchandise displays, and providing excellent customer service. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, you will act in a leadership capacity, handling cash, authorizing refunds, and ensuring store security.
Key Duties:
- Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain proper product rotation.
- Assist customers in locating items and operate cash registers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including cleaning and stocking.
- Support plan-o-gram implementation and merchandise presentation.
- Handle cash transactions, make bank deposits, and monitor cash levels.
- Ensure store safety, security, and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Ability to operate cash registers and follow safety policies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of store presentation and plan-o-gram adherence.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
