Role: Provides direct patient care under RN supervision, including treatments, medication administration, and diagnostic studies. Acts as a care team member to support patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Performs duties of a Clinic LPN, serving as a role model for quality care.
- Obtains and documents patient information such as chief complaint and vital signs.
- Addresses physical, social, and psychological needs of patients and families.
- Monitors, identifies, and reports patient condition changes to the RN.
- Reinforces health education, collects lab specimens, and completes paperwork.
- Prepares exam and treatment rooms, administers medications, and assists with procedures.
- Inserts and manages IVs as required by providers.
- Maintains cleanliness of clinical areas per health and safety standards.
- Assists in equipment troubleshooting, inventory management, and supply ordering.
- Participates in staffing coordination and operational problem-solving.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, with demonstrated accountability and adherence to policies. Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills are essential.
