Role: Responsible for identifying quality issues, establishing containment, developing and implementing countermeasures to ensure product quality. Manages quality activities related to ferrous manufacturing components, including analyzing reports, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels to ensure understanding and alignment.
- Review daily reports and CSIs to identify quality gaps and develop solutions.
- Utilize data analysis and PDCA to support problem-solving and process improvements.
- Monitor product and process performance to maintain quality standards while minimizing costs.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in technical areas.
- Prioritize tasks and make data-driven decisions to meet business objectives.
- Test and implement new technologies to enhance quality systems.
- Manage scrap trends and achieve quality and scrap reduction targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0-6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient with industry-standard software.
- Positive, open-minded team player with strong self-motivation.
- Demonstrates leadership and effective communication skills.
