This role is for a full-time Registered Cardiac Sonographer at a medical office building in Grovetown, Georgia.
Responsibilities include performing diagnostic echocardiography procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and accurately capturing quality images. The sonographer verifies orders, reviews patient history, prepares patients, and follows all protocols for safe and effective imaging.
Key duties involve equipment setup, image review, maintaining patient privacy, and assisting with procedures. They are expected to operate ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
The role requires dependability, cooperation, critical thinking, and effective communication. The candidate must demonstrate competence in technical procedures and patient care.
Qualifications include at least one year of echocardiography experience, ARDMS or CCI certification, and BLS certification. A high school diploma is required; diagnostic medical sonography or cardiovascular technology training is preferred.
